Proper planning makes for a successful outcome. We are highly practiced in planning different types of investigations and preparing for multiple possibilities – all based on the encounters we have experienced while doing similar work.
Different types of investigations call for different methods of action
All investigations require research. We have many diverse resources at our disposal that go far beyond ordinary internet research. We know how to link information found in one place to additional facts and records located in another.
Some investigations require surveillance. BLI got its start in surveillance, you might say that it “lit our fire”. It’s how we made our mark. Our investigators are hired by Ms. Kroll for their natural abilities which are then refined using techniques that she has developed over time. This produces the unique blend of inherent and strategic skills employed in every investigation. Our surveillance efforts are not simply surface scans. They are a blend of knowing the subject and their surroundings, and being able to show up ready, do our work and leave unnoticed.
Field work by our investigators may also be required for assignments such as requests to locate an individual, take statements or perform interviews.
Our investigators are individuals – no two are the same either in appearance, personality or life experience. They have all been through the training that allows them to put themselves into any setting and be confident. Sometimes, one investigator may have an advantage in a particular situation. Then, that individual will be given the assignment. What is the same about them is their tenacity and determination to make the most of any situation. Their objective is to remain unbiased, to record the story as it unfolds, and retain their pledge to privacy regarding their assignments.
Our investigators have been to urban, suburban, rural, and forested areas, dance classes, horse races, ballgames, gym workouts, bars/clubs/restaurants, beaches, parks and hiking trails, ferry terminals, train stations and airports to name a few locales.
There is regular communication with Ms. Kroll, who manages every investigation.
